MVFD History


The Miami Valley Folk Dancers was formed from a City of Dayton sponsored folk dance class that started in 1952. It has been a wonderful, fun ride ever since. Here is a historical view of the club.

    Michael Solomon becomes interested in recreational activities including dancing in the late WWII years as a result of programs at the YMCA
