Spring has come
The sun is so bright
Japanica's blooming
The air is just right

The tulips are pushing
Their buds through the ground
The daffodils and crocus
In the garden abound

The Red bird and Blue Jay
Are calling their mates
The robbins and sparrows
Are building their nests

It's Spring
Birds are winging through the air
It's Spring
The tress are budding everywhere
The flower are blooming
Oh so bright and fair
With the breezes blowing
Fragance through the air
Its spring
A season that is so fair
Its spring
No other season can compare

On English Literature
We spent some time
To study poetry
And read good rhymes

Some History was involved
In this we found great pleasure
We learned about King Arthur
And also read some Shaucer

So many poets cam in view
Their poems a delight
To read about their work
To study of their life

Much joy we had in reading
Of Shakespeare, Pape and Janson
of Browning, Spenser Coleridge
Of Milton, Scott & Gordon

So many more we must give praise
For stories so enlightning
Of Kings and queens and history
Of wars and so much fighting

Outstanding poems were many
Short stories, plays and prose
It really is a pity
This volume now to close

To Viva

The girl with the darkest hair
And eys of shining black
She's only 5 foot 2 in height
But that is not a lack

She makes it up in Vim & Vigor
And in her quiet way
She moves about the office
Year in and day to day

She's cashier for our office
And counts the cash so well
We haven't had an error
In years, so we can tell

Trinka

We loved our little Trinka
Because she was so small
She was so very gentle
And not so very tall

She was a little Dachshund
That's why she was so long
Her color was a lovely brown
Her hair was not so long

She went her happy way
For over fourteen years
It seems as but a day
Although it was long years

She always was so healthy
And gave us all much joy
The time slipped by so quickly
Through happy days of joy

She's now a little angle
With Halo and white wings
She'll live in God's dov Heaven
Where all the Angels sing
